A bit of a poetry binge lately. This is an entry for #TankaTuesday #TheSpiceofLife #Poetry Challenge No. 309,Β 2/28/23.
This poem in the form of an American Cinquain.
Static Mundanity Bold to speak through blankets To stand in solidarity Cumin
The audacity of cumin to stand in the spice rack as a bitter thought, yet organize a well-balanced curry when called upon, can be seen as an act of bravery. It knows its value and remains in the rack until it’s ready to be used.
